James Porfido, a Certified Criminal Trial Attorney by the New Jersey Supreme Court, is Of Counsel in the firm’s Criminal Practice Group at Einhorn Barbarito. He joins the firm after 24 years in private practice at James M. Porfido Law in Morris County and various roles with the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office. Known throughout New Jersey, James established his private practice in 2002, focusing on criminal defense, real estate transactions, and civil litigation. He also served as Municipal Prosecutor for several municipalities and Public Defender in criminal matters. Before his private practice, he worked with Fullerton and Porfido, P.A., and served as an Assistant Prosecutor in the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office, handling high-profile cases and leading multiple units. James has provided legal analysis on news programs, taught at Seton Hall Law School, and offered pro bono representation to crime victims.
